About Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360-square-kilometer wildlife haven on the Laikipia Plateau, framed by the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. It is East Africa's largest sanctuary for Black Rhinos and the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees, at the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Most poignantly, Ol Pejeta is home to Najin and Fatu — the last two Northern White Rhinos left on the planet — under 24-hour armed guard. The conservancy's pioneering approach to conservation, blending wildlife protection with community development, has made it a model for the rest of Africa. With all of the Big Five present, night game drives permitted, and the stunning Mount Kenya as your backdrop, Ol Pejeta offers one of Kenya's most intimate and meaningful safari experiences.
