Arrival — Nairobi to Chyulu Hills (Fly-In)

Arrive at JKIA Nairobi, clear immigration with our team, then transfer to Wilson Airport for your domestic flight to Ol Donyo Lodge airstrip. The lodge team collects you for a game drive en route to the lodge. Arrive for lunch, check in, then enjoy an evening game drive across the dramatic Chyulu Hills — elephants, lions, cheetahs, and giraffe with Kilimanjaro on the horizon.

Full Board

Morning game drive as the savannah wakes up. Spend the afternoon at the private plunge pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or watch animals from the sunken hide at the waterhole. Optional: horseback safari or mountain biking (extra cost). End the day with sundowners at a scenic viewpoint overlooking Kilimanjaro.

Breakfast then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Finch Hattons' airstrip in Tsavo West. One of Kenya's oldest and largest parks, famous for massive elephant herds, the crystal-clear Mzima Springs, and the eerie Shetani Lava Flow. Arrive for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Full Board

Early morning game drive — elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and leopards. Visit Mzima Springs for hippos and crocodiles at the underwater viewing hide. Explore the Shetani Lava Flow and Chaimu Crater. Lunch in the wild. Afternoon visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Final game drive at sunset — over 600 bird species in the park.

Tsavo West to Maasai Mara (Fly-In via Wilson)

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport, then connect to the Maasai Mara. Met by Cottars Camp team at the Mara airstrip. Check in and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the vast Maasai Mara — the Great Migration, the Big Five, and the endless rolling grasslands.

Full Board

Full day game drives with packed picnic lunch. The Maasai Mara is the premier Kenya safari destination — lions, buffalo, wildebeest, and the full Big Five roaming freely. Optional: guided bush walks, Maasai village visit, and hot air balloon safari (at extra cost, must be booked the day before).

Full Board

Another full day to savour the Mara's extraordinary wildlife. Return to camp in the afternoon for the pool and spa, then enjoy a final evening game drive or a bush dinner under the stars.

Breakfast & Lunch/Dinner

After breakfast and check-out, fly back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Transfer to a restaurant for a farewell lunch/early dinner (included). Onward transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure flight. End of services.
