Overview

Arrive at Kilimanjaro and settle into Arusha before your safari begins. Move through Lake Manyara National Park, a small but spectacular park known for tree-climbing lions and thousands of pink flamingos. The heart of the trip is two full days in the Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife destinations on earth. End with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater — the 8th Wonder of the World — before flying home. An optional 3-night Zanzibar beach extension is available (at additional cost).

Arrival — Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Bed & Breakfast

Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Arusha Serena Hotel on the shores of Lake Duluti (approx. 1 hour). Spend the afternoon at leisure — enjoy the hotel's scenic gardens, nature walks, or simply relax.

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Full Board

After breakfast and check-out, drive to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2½ hours). Check in at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, freshen up, and enjoy lunch. Then your first game drive — watch for the famous tree-climbing lions, flamingo-crowded shores, and rich birdlife.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Full Board

After breakfast and check-out, drive to the Serengeti (approx. 4½ hours with scenic game viewing en route). Arrive at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, freshen up, and enjoy an enchanting evening game drive — the golden hour brings predators to life.

Full Board

An early breakfast, then depart with packed lunch for a full-day game drive. Witness the annual wildebeest migration, track the famous radio-collared lion prides, and spot all of the Big Five across the Serengeti's unmatched plains.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Full Board

After breakfast and check-out, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area — the 8th Wonder of the World (approx. 3 hours). Check in at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, enjoy lunch, then descend into the crater for a game drive among its extraordinary wildlife density.
